EK is now reporting what Dan Rosen had said on XM radio this morning in that Lamoriello is having heavy discussions with the Leafs, in believing it could otherwise be leading to offer sheeting Marner, as opposed to him any longer being interested in signing Panarin.

I saw that also, and posted on Jan's previous blog or two earlier, of Dreger saying this morning that the Canucks were interested in acquiring an experienced d'man, with Barrie being their heavily rumored first interest, taking away the worry for now of him becoming a Ranger at the expense of Kreider in some deal.

How weird would it be if tonight's NHL draft goes down like this one has?
